Recognizing the need for efficient and environmentally friendly public transportation, the City of San Leandro created the San Leandro LINKS shuttle program.
This free service allows riders to leave their cars at home by linking San Leandro BART with West San Leandro employment centers.

When does the shuttle run?
Service is provided on weekday mornings from 5:45am
to 9:30am and evenings from 2:00pm to 7:30pm. The LINKS operates Monday through Friday, except National Holidays
(the last shuttle departs the BART station at 9:30am and in evenings at 7:30pm).

What do I need to do to ride the LINKS?

The LINKS is FREE to all riders. Simply catch the LINKS at one of its designated stops.

Where are the stops located?

The LINKS stops at the San Leandro BART station and at designated stops throughout West San Leandro. Please
refer to the map/schedule to view the route map for exact LINKS stop locations.

Who pays for The LINKS?
The LINKS is FREE to all riders. The LINKS program is funded by businesses along the route through the Business Improvement District Tax and a partnership with the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.

How long will I have to wait for a shuttle bus?
Two shuttle busses run during morning and evening commute hours, providing you with a shuttle bus every
twenty minutes.

Who operates the LINKS shuttles?
The LINKS is managed by the Transportation Management Organization through a board of local volunteers from the business community and City representatives. The LINKS shuttles are maintained and operated by M.V. Transportation.

What if I take the LINKS to work in the morning and have to go home sick in the middle of the day?
Call the Guaranteed Ride Home Program at 510/433-0320, and a vehicle will be dispatched to come pick you up
and take you home. The Guaranteed Ride Home Program is free for LINKS riders, and is sponsored by the
Alameda County Congestion Management Association.
